Fact Checking Policy

Last updated: 6 October 2026

This policy explains how The Job Result Guide checks the information in its guides before and after publication.

Sources We Prefer

  1. Official government portals of the destination country and of India.
  2. Indian Embassies and Consulates, and the Ministry of External Affairs.
  3. Regulators and statutory bodies, such as recruitment commissions, provident fund and insurance organisations, and professional councils.
  4. Official employer or institution websites for organisation-specific facts.

Social media posts, forwarded messages and unverified agent claims are not treated as reliable sources.

Our Checking Process

  • Names of authorities, portals and procedures are checked against official sources.
  • Numbers that change often, such as salaries, fees and legal limits, are not stated as fact; readers are directed to official sources instead.
  • Every link in a “Helpful Links” section is opened and checked before publication, and slow or broken links are removed.
  • Articles are reviewed by the editor for clarity, balance and accuracy before publishing.

Keeping Content Current

We revisit guides when rules change or readers report issues, and we update or remove information that is no longer accurate.

Reporting a Problem

If you believe a fact is wrong, email guide@thejobresult.com. Corrections are handled under our Corrections Policy.
